In the summer of 2005, two well-established Minnesota Hunter Douglas fabricators merged, making a new company; Warren Steven Window Fashions.
Warren Shade Company was founded in 1910 by Clyde Warren, grandfather of the brothers, Bill and Mike Mann. The company started out as a small porch shade manufacturing business in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, and has grown over the years into a full service Hunter Douglas fabricator and distributor. The company has remained in the Warren family for more than 90 years, with management that has included one of the first female C.E.O.'s in the state's history, Christine Warren.
It is with pride and determination that Warren Shade Company strives to uphold the fine standards set so long ago and to maintain the reputation of impeccable quality and service pioneered by the Warren family.
Steven Fabrics was founded in 1946 and started as a drapery fabricator. In the fall of 2005, we moved into our new facility at 600 NE Hoover Street in Minneapolis. The new facility offers over 80,000 sq feet of manufacturing and office space. We have a training center and showroom with a full sample book library.
