Duette® Architella® Honeycomb Shades $1,500 Federal Tax Credit Opportunity
We’re delighted to advise you that certain Duette® Architella® honeycomb shades now qualify for a special Federal Tax Credit up to $1,500 for energy-efficient products under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This tax credit is in effect for qualifying Duette Architella purchases retroactive to January 1, 2009 and continuing through December 31, 2010. Federal tax credits for energy-efficient products are available for 30 percent of the cost of most Duette Architella shades, up to a maximum of $1,500 in total, when purchased and installed through December 31, 2010, provided the expense meets the tax guidelines. Highly insulating Duette Architella shades, which can more than double the energy efficiency of a window, are the first and only window shades to qualify for the tax credit without add-on insulation systems.
It is important to understand that, although Duette Architella is uniquely positioned to qualify for the tax credit in its original form, the $1,500 tax credit opportunity is cumulative over the two-year period and applies to select other product categories such as windows and HVAC systems that are currently very heavily promoted. It is critical to begin talking about the Architella credit opportunities in order to succefully compete against these other home product categories.
